The Director of Business Expansion supports the development and execution of strategic plans for OSF HealthCare System. This role involves complex research on new business strategies, market analysis, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will create timely and innovative service plans, strategic plans, and market analysis to drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion
- Conduct complex research on new business strategies, market analysis, and industry trends
- Create timely and innovative service plans, strategic plans, and market analysis
- Present recommendations to management regarding planning activities
- Develop relationships with targeted business customers and regional business development specialists
- Implement internal organizational structure and staffing to support business development
- Oversee referral and retention plans, tracking and measurement systems, and internal communications plans
- Support business development specialists through internal development of onboarding, training, and issue resolution management processes
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, healthcare administration, or other closely related field
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery and management, strategic planning, basic budgeting, and healthcare legislation
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree
- Approximately three to five years of experience in healthcare operations and planning
- Approximately three to five years providing research, analysis, and decision support
- Understanding of business development, strategic planning, and business planning
- Exposure and/or training in Six Sigma and/or other PI methodologies and measurement
