Job Title: Infrastructure Construction Director

William Charles Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Construction Director to lead our regional construction efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and advancing the overall performance and growth of our assigned region.

This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, estimating, and management principles. You will work closely with regional leadership to develop short-term and long-term goals that promote safety, quality, profitability, and growth.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and team building skills, with the ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals, and motivate groups and individuals. They will also have advanced project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insight and operational advice to drive regional business goals
  • Recommend and implement an overall business plan for the region
  • Provide senior leadership to all leaders and directors within the team
  • Enhance and develop policies and procedures to improve overall operation and effectiveness
  • Ensure data-driven decisions and accurate reporting
  • Inspire trust and ethical behavior within the team
  • Lead departments to maximize profit
  • Evaluate department structures and team plans for continual improvement
  • Support sector Executive Vice President in developing organizational plans and programs
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related major
  • 15 years of construction industry experience and knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and management
