Unit Description
This is an 18-bed unit focused on patients with various stages of Renal Disease, including Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Renal Failure, and End Stage Renal Disease requiring dialysis.

Role Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all unit functions during the designated shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies, serving as a resource for staff and embodying the organization's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Participates in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Promotes teamwork and supports a patient-first philosophy.
  • Engages in staff development, including interviewing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Manages staff scheduling and labor aspects in line with patient care needs.
  • Oversees inventory control and supply management.

Qualifications
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
Preferred Experience: 1 year of charge RN experience.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years).
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing.

Required License: Active registered nurse license in the state of practice.
Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
