Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Educator enhances professional practice and ensures high-quality patient care by delivering evidence-based educational programs and activities that foster professional competency among nursing and clinical staff.
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare personnel.
- Facilitate orientation programs to enhance employee retention.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine educational programs based on feedback and evaluation.
- Design and implement educational activities targeting specific practice gaps for healthcare personnel.
- Plan educational content that promotes active engagement and learning.
- Integrate evidence-based practices to continuously enhance care quality.
- Encourage participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify strategies for ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
- Utilize a novice-to-expert framework to support staff development and skill mastery.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice or an active compact state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care environment.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field.
- 2+ years of experience in clinical education.
