As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will have the opportunity to enhance nursing practices and improve patient outcomes through your expertise and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Professional Development Educator will elevate professional standards and quality patient care by delivering evidence-based educational programs that foster competency among nursing and clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, coordinating, and evaluating onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare personnel.
  • Implementing orientation programs aimed at enhancing employee retention.
  • Collaborating with leadership to refine educational programs based on feedback and evaluation results.
  • Designing educational activities that address specific practice gaps for both licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  • Creating engaging educational content that drives learner participation and success.
  • Integrating evidence-based practices to continually enhance nursing standards.
  • Encouraging ongoing professional development through lifelong learning initiatives.
  • Utilizing a novice-to-expert framework to support staff development and skill mastery.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical field (Required).
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical field (Preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care environment (Required).
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical education (Preferred).
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice or an active compact state license (Required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
