Position Title: Supply Chain Technician, Junior

Job Overview:

As a Supply Chain Technician, you will play a vital role in the distribution of essential supplies and materials across various service areas. Your responsibilities will encompass the management of both sterile and non-sterile medical supplies, ensuring their availability and proper handling.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inventory checks at primary and secondary locations using barcoding technology to facilitate timely replenishment orders.
2. Address discrepancies between inventory records and physical stock counts, communicating any issues to relevant personnel.
3. Ensure all products and storage areas are clearly labeled with appropriate identification numbers.
4. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, adhering to infection control protocols and established guidelines.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to clinical staff and collaborate with Logistics team members to address supply needs.

Essential Functions:
Your role will involve:
- Monitoring stock levels and recommending adjustments to Inventory Management Specialists as necessary.
- Coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to identify and resolve supply-related issues.
- Managing the delivery of supplies to various departments, ensuring items are in optimal condition.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires physical stamina, including:
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of supplies, with weights occasionally reaching up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to push heavy carts and move items weighing over 40 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment:
The role will be performed in diverse settings, including storage facilities and clinical areas, which may vary in temperature and lighting conditions. You will be expected to work outdoors during deliveries, regardless of weather conditions.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
