Job Overview

Antenna Research Associates Inc is a leading provider of innovative technologies for the national security community. We design, manufacture, test, and install cutting-edge solutions that enhance situational awareness, threat detection, and communications capabilities.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of designs utilizing SolidWorks CAD. You will work under the direction of experienced engineers to create 3D models, perform FEA simulations, and support RF technicians during fabrication of engineering builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement designs using SolidWorks CAD
  • Perform FEA simulations and prototyping
  • Support RF technicians during fabrication of engineering builds
  • Assist in the creation of 3D models and detail drawings
  • Perform engineering change processes as necessary
  • Test prototypes and standard products
Requirements
  • Attending a two-year or four-year college for Design or Mechanical Engineering major
  • Good working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate engineering requirements
