Job Overview

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution or a combination of four to six years of relevant experience along with a high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL SPECIALIST:

- Proficient understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including PLC programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical power systems and circuitry.
- Knowledge of CNC control systems.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR MECHANICAL SPECIALIST:

- Solid grasp of the design and upkeep of mechanical components and systems.
- Experience with the design and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Experience with HPDC and CNC machine maintenance is preferred for both Mechanical and Electrical roles.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various business publications, professional journals, technical manuals, or governmental regulations. Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Proficient in presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Competence in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.

REASONING SKILLS

Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions. Capable of interpreting a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and managing several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While executing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and electrical hazards. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
