POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities that assist in the operational functions of the store, including processing transactions, managing merchandise, organizing inventory, and ensuring the stockroom is well-maintained.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and replenishing sales floor items, with potential assistance on the sales floor.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence
  • Efficiently processes merchandise, ensuring items are stored appropriately and are easily accessible for restocking, optimizing available stock space.
  • Accurately and promptly displays new products.
  • Inputs receiving documentation into the system accurately, reconciles merchandise invoices, and facilitates store-to-store transfers in a timely manner.
  • Manages visual merchandising materials, props, and signage effectively, while keeping stockroom equipment organized.
  • Participates in pricing adjustments and markdowns.
  • Alerts management regarding cash supply needs.
  • Assists with visual directives, floor arrangements, window displays, and maintaining store cleanliness as directed.
Customer Experience
  • Advocates for and exemplifies outstanding service standards, providing a seamless omni-channel shopping experience.
  • Ensures a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, returns, security measures, and other operational protocols.
  • Promotes additional purchases and encourages clients to join the rewards program during checkout.
Teamwork and Growth
  • Fosters a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively pursues personal development opportunities and welcomes constructive feedback.

This role may involve responsibilities across various brands, with duties adjusted accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in stock management or cashier roles preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable standing for the majority of the shift.
  • Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience in visual merchandising and product placement techniques is advantageous.
  • Regular attendance is critical; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
The salary range for this position is $16.30 to $20.50, with final pay rates determined based on individual qualifications and store location.
