POSITION SUMMARY:

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities that facilitate store sales operations, including processing transactions, managing merchandise, organizing inventory, and ensuring the stockroom is maintained effectively.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and replenishing sales floor items, with potential assistance on the sales floor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Efficiency
  • Accurately processes merchandise, ensuring items are stored appropriately and readily accessible for restocking, optimizing inventory space as necessary.
  • Ensures timely and accurate display of new products.
  • Inputs receiving documentation into the system accurately, reconciles merchandise invoices, and executes store-to-store transfers efficiently.
  • Manages visual merchandising materials, props, and signage effectively, while keeping stockroom equipment organized.
  • Participates in pricing adjustments and markdowns.
  • Alerts management regarding cash supply needs.
  • Assists with visual merchandising directives, floor setups, window displays, and overall store cleanliness as directed.
Customer Engagement
  • Upholds and promotes exceptional service standards, providing a seamless multi-channel experience.
  • Ensures a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, returns, security measures, and other operational protocols.
  • Encourages additional purchases and promotes the rewards program to customers during checkout.
Collaboration and Development
  • Fosters a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively pursues personal growth opportunities and welcomes constructive feedback.
Additional duties as assigned.

This role may encompass various brands with responsibilities that may differ accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in stock management or cashier roles preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to company-provided technology
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be comfortable standing for the majority of the shift
  • Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Experience in visual merchandising and product placement techniques is advantageous
  • Regular attendance is essential; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Continuous walking/standing throughout the shift
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of the shift
  • Frequent climbing- 34%-66% of the shift
The salary range for this position is $16.30 to $20.50. Final compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and store location.
