Who We Seek:

We are in search of an Environmental Client Relations Manager - Oil and Gas to join our Environmental Team. This role requires a proactive, motivated, and diligent professional who excels in cultivating trustworthy relationships with clients, partners, and the community. The position demands a strong capacity to manage and advance multiple initiatives that necessitate long-term development and dedication. Flexibility in tackling challenges and a non-linear approach to problem-solving are essential.

This role can be performed remotely with flexibility in location.

As part of our vibrant and high-performing team, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including:
  • Collaborating closely with our Mid-Continent Environmental Market Lead in a dual internal and external role.
  • Conducting market research within the oil and gas environmental sector.
  • Engaging with clients through active listening, open-mindedness, and understanding their business challenges to devise effective solutions.
  • Working collaboratively across teams to develop compelling value propositions and proposals for clients.
  • Creating and delivering presentations tailored to specific opportunities and projects or general qualifications.
  • Leading project teams in the planning, design, and execution of environmental projects, including permitting, compliance, assessment, and remediation.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients and partners.
  • Assisting current GHD clients in implementing innovative solutions to address their environmental challenges.
  • Actively participating in relevant environmental industry groups and associations.
  • Providing mentorship and leadership to fellow environmental professionals.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Proven track record in establishing and nurturing relationships at all levels of client management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading client relationship development and project execution in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a history of effective collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Experience in developing and leading diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in current office applications, particularly client-facing tools.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental project management and client relationship development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Experience or strong interest in client relationship management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare effective client presentations and reports.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
