Position Overview: We are seeking a Child Advocacy Team Coordinator to oversee case coordination within a multidisciplinary team (MDT). This role is crucial in facilitating services that support children and families affected by abuse, neglect, or violent crimes.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience, particularly with at-risk families, is desirable.
  • Strong reading comprehension and evaluative skills are essential.
  • Must demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to assess case information critically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are required.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the unique needs of diverse cultural and ethnic groups.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are mandatory.
  • Successful completion of criminal and civil background checks is required.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is expected.
  • Personal attributes should include integrity, credibility, and a dedication to the mission of Alliance For Children.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate referrals to identify suitable cases for MDT services based on established criteria.
  • Review and act upon Statewide Intake Reports and relevant law enforcement documents as necessary.
  • Enhance the coordination of investigative efforts and service provision for eligible cases.
  • Facilitate the generation of necessary reports from various agencies.
  • Provide on-call coordination for critical cases.
  • Maintain accurate records related to case management.
  • Streamline the scheduling of forensic interviews and initiate joint investigations.
  • Support and encourage the MDT process actively.
  • Organize and participate in team-building events and initiatives.
  • Meet reporting deadlines for the Team Relations Program.
  • Attend MDT case staffing meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and twist intermittently. Candidates should be able to lift up to 20 lbs and engage in moderate travel using a personal vehicle.
