We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Cascade Ventures. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in the main accounting department, working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with tax calculations according to HGB and IFRS, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Determine monthly sales and payroll tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Active involvement in annual tax returns, including sales, corporation, trade, and energy taxes.
  • Support VAT processes and serve as the primary contact person for tax and accounting issues.
  • Accompany and support during economic and company audits, actively participating in projects within the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed commercial training with a background in accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • First practical work experience in the main accounting department or at auditing or tax consulting firms.
  • Good application knowledge in ERP systems, preferably in SAP FI.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Structured and careful way of working.
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
