Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Sports Surfaces

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager for Sports Surfaces. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Southeast region.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including general contractors, installation contractors, architects, distributors, and dealers
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and industry events
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships to increase sales and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and technical services, to identify new business opportunities and secure them
- Utilize industry specifications, building notifications, and plans to create bid projects pipeline
- Interact with multi-level business leaders and cross-functional support groups to accomplish goals and objectives
- Participate in sports surfacing organizations and trade show events
- Proven sales track record in the sports surfacing coatings and cushion surface systems
- Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills
- Ability to work independently with new and existing clients to overcome typical sales objections
- Cold-calling success within a territory to both large nationwide clients and small businesses in construction and installation markets
