Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at Equipment Supplier Company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

About the Role:

  • Manage and grow an inherited portfolio of clients within the Moving & Storage industry.
  • Establish, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with existing & new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within the assigned region.
  • Handle pricing negotiations, order entry, and inventory management to meet customer needs.
  • Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timeliness of service.
  • Regularly update and report to the Senior VP of Sales on business performance and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer inquiries and improve service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months outside sales experience, preferably in the Moving & Storage industry.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel regionally, with a valid driver's license.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
