Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager to join our Industrial Environmental team. As a key member of our team, you will support dynamic projects, overseeing deliverables for small-to-mid-sized initiatives. Your role in the full project life cycle will be essential to ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, leading to successful, high-quality solutions that meet engineering and design needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble project teams, assigning individual responsibilities to ensure technical skills, capabilities, and expertise align with project objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, communicating project scope, schedule, and budget with the project team, client, and contractors.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
  • Develop project budgets, review costs, and track adherence to planned budget.
  • Organize and conduct routine project meetings, ensuring alignment on expectations and performance.
  • Ensure RCRA compliance across all generator classes, including contingency plans, waste characterization, and hazardous waste shipment coordination.
  • Act as a liaison during state and EPA inspections, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Conduct multi-media environmental audits.
  • Lead Phase I ESA development and completion.
  • Oversee wastewater permitting and stormwater plan development with routine compliance.
  • Maintain field lab accreditation, ensuring ongoing compliance with program requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years of project experience within an applicable field or discipline with increasing responsibility.
