POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager for Strategic Collaborations plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing marketing initiatives for Kenneth Cole's portfolio of licensed strategic partners, both in domestic and international markets. This role is essential in shaping marketing strategies that align with partner growth objectives while also supporting overarching brand growth goals, identifying opportunities within various distribution channels. The Marketing Manager serves as the primary liaison between the brand and its partners.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing and collaborating cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to address strategic partner requirements.
- Acting as the main communication conduit between brand marketing and licensed strategic partners, facilitating all marketing campaign inquiries.
- Collecting and supporting seasonal content creation requests from strategic partners, ensuring alignment with the brand's comprehensive marketing strategy.
- Initiating briefs for the internal brand team regarding partner requests that support ongoing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, or new product launches.
- Coordinating strategies for brand and performance enhancements on platforms such as Amazon and Macy's, in partnership with strategic partners, the KCP strategic partnerships team, and external agencies, to boost brand visibility and channel growth.
- Ensuring that strategic partners maintain effective communication regarding Amazon assortment details to optimize representation on the brand's store page.
- Integrating into the go-to-market process to ensure that all components of strategic partner marketing support are initiated early and incorporated into the overall seasonal brand strategy.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to:
- Senior Director of Integrated Marketing
This role collaborates internally with the following departments:
- Strategic Partnerships (domestic and international)
- Creative Services and Social Media
- Public Relations and Social Impact
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize multiple partners and initiatives in a complex environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of a full funnel marketing approach and related tactics.
- Proficiency in defining measurement objectives and analyzing marketing campaign performance to inform future strategies.
- Experience in digital marketing, platform marketing, and media strategies.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- An editorial mindset that seeks to understand audience consumption patterns and effective marketing approaches.
- Proficient in Microsoft and/or Mac Office applications, including PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Capability to work effectively across various functions.
