Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Department: Operations/Production

Employment Type: Full Time - Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration of units utilizing schematic diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and various official documents such as Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
  • Perform inspections and tests on electrical and mechanical aircraft components to detect defects and assess wear.
  • Disassemble, clean, and evaluate aircraft components for integrity.
  • Repair or replace components that are damaged or exhibit signs of wear.
  • Reassemble and conduct tests on electrical and mechanical units to verify operational efficiency.
  • Engage in a variety of complex tasks requiring technical expertise.
  • Familiarize oneself with diverse Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) practices and procedures.
  • Report to the lead technician, supervisor, or manager as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Completion of technical training from a recognized educational institution or 1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret maintenance manuals and directives.
  • Proficient in evaluating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating units using official documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience with mechanical tools, multimeters, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to utilize standardized tools and electrical equipment effectively.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
