We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at Americold Warehousing. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on Electrical and Mechanical Systems in a cold storage automated facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting, overhauls/rebuilds, and continuous improvement activities on Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Perform related work and other job assignments as required.
- 3-7 years of experience in electro-mechanical systems maintenance in an automated facility or equivalent.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent is preferred.
- Certifications or formal training in related experiences are preferred.
- Experience using Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and devices.
- Understanding of principles of lubrication, power transmission, and electrical safety.
- Proficient working with electrical wiring of equipment, system control panels, and diagrams/schematics.
- Understanding of Safety Devices and sensors.
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills in an on-the-job training type of environment for other maintenance team members.
