Position Title: Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Specialist
Contract Duration: 12 Months on W2
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a prerequisite.

Role Summary:

This role is integral to the Maintenance Team at Trispoke Managed Services, focusing on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing and infrastructure machinery. Your contributions will be vital for the operational success and expansion of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the functionality of machinery and mechanical systems by executing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment; adhering to technical manuals, schematics, and engineering guidelines; diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Conduct inspections of facility equipment to proactively identify potential failures.
  • Respond promptly to line calls, equipped with necessary tools to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
  • Complete assigned work orders and scheduled tasks diligently.
  • Provide assistance during operational disruptions as required.
  • Engage in Root Cause Analysis and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, maintaining 5S standards and participating in assigned area/pillar activities.
  • Ensure a safe and organized working environment.
  • Participate in safety and operational training sessions.
  • Maintain electrical control software to support facility programming.
  • Program HMIs, PLCs, Servos, and other electrical systems.
  • Make timely decisions during emergencies or breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and determine corrective actions, referencing schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed.
  • Guide maintenance team members on proper electrical installation and repair methods.
  • Coordinate electrical installations or repairs with contractors within the facility.
  • Inspect ongoing electrical work to ensure effective labor utilization and assess training needs.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required within one year of employment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience in electrical maintenance, or an associate's degree, certification, or applicable military training in Electrical Maintenance.
  • Proficient in:
    • Working under pressure and managing multiple tasks.
    • Independent work as well as collaborative teamwork, with flexibility in shift assignments.
    • Clear and effective communication in English.
    • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and P&ID drawings.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and machine control principles.
    • Strong understanding of LTT, energy control protocols, and safe working practices.
    • Experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives.
    • Adaptability to perform various roles within the maintenance department as assigned.
    • Accountability for keeping the Maintenance Leader informed about electrical equipment conditions to prevent significant production downtime.
    • Identifying electrical spare parts requirements to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
    • Planning and organizing repair work using diagrams, maintenance manuals, and schematics.
    • Familiarity with electrical codes.
    • Proficient in computer operations, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and on a 12-hour shift rotation.
  • Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • Capability to work at heights (up to 150ft) using man lifts and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to temperature extremes and varying noise levels, as well as outdoor conditions as required.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
