About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Fire Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services for our customers' fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify and resolve system issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, including testing and calibration
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their system needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire alarm technology
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm systems
  • Valid Fire Alarm License
  • Strong knowledge of blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification
