Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Suppression Systems Technician to join our team at TRS Group, Inc. As a Fire Suppression Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing AFFF cleanout of fire-fighting systems and vehicles, and managing water treatment to ensure harmful chemicals do not make their way back into the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform AFFF cleanout of fire-fighting systems and vehicles
  • Manage water treatment to ensure harmful chemicals do not contaminate the environment
  • Work in firehouses and airports, taking our patented technology directly to the source
  • Manual labor, heavy lifting, heavy travel, and overtime may be required
  • Travel schedule: out on Monday, home by Friday evening, with site work during the week
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with water treatment systems
  • Working understanding of flocculation, fluid circulation systems, and environmental sampling
  • Effective communication skills, including writing and editing plans, reports, and procedures
  • HAZWOPER certification required before starting work at a job site
  • Construction experience a plus
