Your Role

In this position, you will oversee the Post-Silicon Electrical Validation for Cisco SiliconOne Switch ASICs.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing validation strategies
- Programming the validation software environment utilizing Python and device SDK
- Executing tests and analyzing results

Through this role, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of chip architecture, functionality, and operational modes, enabling you to diagnose and resolve electrical chip-related issues.

Occasional international travel may be required.

Collaboration

As a member of the Cisco SiliconOne group, the hub of Cisco's ASIC design, you will collaborate with diverse teams globally, including:
- Board Design
- Software Development
- Signal and Power Integrity
- Packaging and Production

Your Profile

We seek individuals who are enthusiastic learners, eager to embrace and assimilate new technologies and methodologies, and excel in documenting and communicating vital information to the team.

Key skills include:

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Interpersonal and presentation/documentation skills
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in Hardware and Post-Silicon Validation
- Proven experience leading a small engineering team
- Practical lab experience with High-Speed, Clocks, and precise voltage measurements
- Proficiency in Python scripting and working with complex SD
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in bringing up ASICs on EVB with Board Design, FPGA, SerDes, and Software teams
- Familiarity with debugging in the lab using VNA/TDR, Oscilloscopes, and Phase Noise analysis
- Background in developing testing environments, conducting validation activities, and analyzing data
- Experience collaborating with production testing teams to identify recurring issues and enhance yield
