About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Engineering Technical Leader to join our Silicon One development organization in San Jose, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the Design-for-Test (DFT) architecture and quality process through the entire implementation flow and post-silicon validation phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Development: Responsible for thorough test planning and development of test benches to verify comprehensive DFT architecture that supports ATE screening, in-system test, debug, and diagnostics needs of the design.
  • Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with the design/design-verification and physical design teams to enable the integration and validation of the Test logic in all phases of the implementation and post-silicon validation flows.
  • Innovative DFT & Test Strategy: Work with the team on innovative hardware DFT & test strategy aspects for new silicon device models, bare die, and stacked die, driving reusable test and debug methodologies and standards.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Work with the team on DFT challenge identification, cross-functional solution brainstorming, and implementation plan development, and lead junior engineers to deliver expected implementations on schedule.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of the latest innovative trends in DFT, test, and silicon engineering, including Jtag protocols, Scan and BIST architectures, memory BIST, and boundary scan.
  • Verification and Debugging: Background in hardware design specifications and verification plan/matrix, RTL & testbench implementations, System Verilog Logic Equivalency checking, and validating the Test-timing of the design.
  • Scripting and Automation: Scripting skills in Tcl, Python, or Perl.
