Position Summary
The role of Senior FPGA Validation Engineer presents a unique chance to join a leading organization in the realm of platform security management and ransomware mitigation for cloud data centers, 5G networks, and disaggregated computing environments. Candidates should have a solid understanding of FPGAs and computer architecture. In this position, you will engage in design verification, debugging, and system integration. Collaboration with Architecture, Verification, ASIC Design, and Software teams will be essential, as you will report to the Engineering division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing the FPGA/Emulation platform (Synopsys HAPS) and device modeling.
- Contribute to the setup of FPGA/Emulation debugging tools.
- Customize the SOC design for the FPGA platform.
- Engage in modeling, debugging, verification, and software support.
- Collaborate with SOC design engineers, verification teams, systems engineers, and software developers to facilitate early prototyping, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Support the development of test programs, chip validation, and oversee the chip lifecycle until production readiness.
- Extensive experience with FPGAs, including familiarity with PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, CPU, and other standard components in SOC ASIC designs.
- Proficient in FPGA tools such as Vivado.
- Experience with Synopsys HAPS FPGA systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.
