Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at The National Autograph Collection. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Servers and Hosts in providing exceptional service to guests, including serving food and beverages as requested.
  • Responsible for maintaining water service and ensuring water levels are adequate throughout the meal.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables with service wares in accordance with company standards and sanitation policies.
  • Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dish drop area and sort accordingly.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including silverware, linen, and condiments.
  • Fold napkins, polish silver, and replenish condiments as needed.
  • Ensure the dining room, waiting, and service areas are clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Respond promptly and graciously to guest service issues and report to the appropriate Server or Manager on Duty.
  • Maintain an acceptable appearance for the station and surrounding area.
  • Perform special cleaning projects as determined by weekly needs.
Requirements
  • Previous restaurant serving and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to move quickly and gracefully throughout the dining room.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and computer operations.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual in a complete uniform for any scheduled shift.
Working Conditions

The Server Assistant will work in a fast-paced dining environment, requiring the ability to walk and stand for extended periods. The ability to lift, balance, and carry large service trays is also essential.
