Human Resources Generalist

At Zmodo AI Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that we attract, engage, and develop top talent.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment (40%):
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Work with hiring managers to finalize job descriptions and distribute job postings to different recruiting channels.
- Conduct first-round screens for candidates that meet basic qualifications and provide feedback and recommendations for hiring managers.
- Provide weekly recruiting reports to hiring managers to review.
- Communicate with candidates and provide outstanding candidate care throughout the recruiting process.
- Manage offer extension processes and lead pre-hire procedures.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement new hire orientations (HR portion).
- Culture-Building (20%):
- Design and lead culture-building initiatives to execute culture as defined by leadership.
- Implement initiatives to build team morale and relations.
- Implement initiatives to promote strong performance, excellence, and conduct for the team.
- HR Service and Employment Relations (20%):
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Lead/Attend employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Implement new hire orientations and employee recognition programs.
- HR Compliance and Reporting (10%):
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Training (5%):
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Other (5%):
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred (can be a combination of full-time and internship experience).
- SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
