Position Overview: Are you dedicated to the field of echocardiography and seeking a rewarding career opportunity? We invite you to consider the role of Lead Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist. In this position, you will conduct echocardiographic ultrasound examinations, analyze findings, and prepare detailed reports in accordance with established departmental protocols. Collaborating closely with the Echocardiography Lab team, you will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and innovative work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct echocardiographic ultrasound examinations and analyze findings
  • Prepare initial reports following departmental protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow sonographer personnel
  • Deliver all clinical modalities available in the Echo Lab
  • Communicate clearly and exhibit proactive behavior

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer certification
  • Must hold Basic Life Support certification
  • Graduated from an accredited cardiac sonographer training program
  • Prior experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication skills

Advanced Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited cardiac sonographer training program
  • At least one year of experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
  • Hold current ARDMS or CCI registry
  • Experience with various cardiac conditions and treatment modalities
  • Preferred experience with advanced heart therapies
  • Preferred familiarity with medical records and imaging systems

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Current ARDMS or CCI registry holder
  • One or more years of post-graduate experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
  • Graduated from an accredited cardiac sonographer training program
  • Experience with a range of cardiac conditions
