We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Human Longevity, Inc. As a key member of our Longevity Care Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the cardiovascular system, including echocardiograms, two-dimensional and M-Mode with color flow Doppler and Doppler Echocardiography.
- Apply ECG electrodes to patients' chests, monitor and note ectopy and arrhythmias, and maintain detailed records of patient examinations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless care and testing.
- Assist patients on and off exam tables, maintain a safe and secure work environment, and adhere to HIPAA practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide empathic and personalized care to clients throughout their experience.
- Graduate from a two-year accredited ultrasound or echocardiography school.
- Successful completion of a course of study leading to certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Possession of a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential is highly desirable.
- At least two years of experience as a sonographer, with proficiency in stress echocardiography and resting studies.
- Ability to operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency with MS Office.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
- Customer-focused approach to provide a high level of care and a positive experience.
- Dynamic individual with the ability to communicate and engage others.
- Open clinical environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift and transport at least 25 pounds.
