Job Summary

Goldrich Kest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall appearance and maintenance needs of our properties are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise the daily activities of our maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed according to our high standards.
  • Work Scheduling and Coordination: Collaborate with our Community Manager to coordinate move-in schedules and ensure timely completion of all repairs.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform, schedule, and supervise maintenance repairs throughout the property, including common area amenities, resident-occupied units, and vacant units.
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors to coordinate repairs and ensure quality work is completed.
  • Supply Management: Budget and maintain an up-to-date supply inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies for the property.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule, monitor, and conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, swimming pool(s), carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.
  • Property Appearance: Maintain a clean and attractive environment around the leasing office, clubhouse, pool, and all common areas.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to resident complaints, concerns, and requests, providing exceptional customer service while working within company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Skills and Abilities: Superior customer service skills, strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items over 60 pounds with assistance; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions

The majority of the work day is spent indoors performing repairs inside of apartments and when performing computer-related work. Exposure to seasonal temperatures occurs during summer and winter months.
