Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide clear and respectful communication to patients, families, and healthcare teams to meet their needs and resolve issues.
- Registration and Scheduling: Accurately complete patient registration and scheduling processes, including verifying insurance benefits and collecting co-pays and deductibles.
- Point of Service Collection: Collect and process payments, including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Utilize effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address patient concerns and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of computers, typing 35 wpm, and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Language: Bilingual skills a plus.
