Job Title: Client Relationship Manager

The Client Relationship Manager is a key role within Citigroup Inc, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position requires a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of banking and financial services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deepen relationships with clients through proactive communication and needs assessment.
  • Manage internal departments to address customer service issues and ensure seamless client experience.
  • Introduce solutions to clients to build and strengthen their portfolios.
  • Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
  • Drive innovation in solutions provided to clients and further develop business opportunities.
  • Support Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward.
  • Maximize client experience through proactive sharing of market updates, trends, and intelligence.
  • Assist in research and identification of prospective clients and network with clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and oversee new transaction submissions and annual reviews for submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department.
  • Actively protect Citi's assets and reputation by being the first line of defense from credit risk management perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in banking and financial services.
  • Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes.
  • Demonstrates core credit skills and intermediate level of Early Warning Detection skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A self-starter with a positive and can-do approach, embracing changes and being bold.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and adapt priorities based on the latest data insights.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
