We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Patient Scheduling Coordinator. This role involves managing patient interactions and efficiently organizing and scheduling medical procedures to meet patient needs effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage with relevant parties to ensure clear communication regarding patient appointments and procedures.
  • Conduct follow-ups to guarantee all necessary documentation is collected.
  • Confirm that all required authorizations are secured prior to scheduling.
  • Manage and adjust patient follow-up appointments and procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate transportation for patients undergoing procedures, if necessary.
  • Provide patients with essential information and instructions prior to their procedure dates.
  • Follow up on any cancellations or no-show patients.
  • Assist with patient check-out processes.
  • Transmit prescriptions to pharmacies via fax or email.
  • Ensure patients are moved through their appointments as scheduled.
  • Handle incoming calls and address inquiries professionally.
  • Update patient information in the database accurately.
  • Be prepared to travel between various locations as required.
  • Exhibit flexibility in scheduling to accommodate company needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with administrative and clerical processes, including word processing and record management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and eCW.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Professional communication skills with patients.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma; some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office scheduling environment.
