We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily coordination and monitoring of patient transportation services, ensuring efficient management of transportation requests and personnel assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Continuously assess and enhance departmental performance through effective dispatching of transport requests.
- Address and resolve issues related to patients, visitors, and staff complaints.
- Utilize strategic dispatching methods to prioritize tasks and assign personnel based on availability and location.
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures.
- Act as the interim manager for the Patient Transport Department in the absence of Operations Managers or Supervisors.
- Encourage teamwork among staff to achieve operational goals and maximize productivity.
- Promote compliance with universal precautions and safety standards.
- Maintain knowledge of patient transport protocols and infection control practices.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, making recommendations for purchases as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate transport requests and manage staff productivity.
- Analytical skills to evaluate task status and interpret response times based on patient needs.
