Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts program to support the UCLA Library's strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and faculty
  • Collaborate with library leadership to identify and prioritize fundraising opportunities
  • Design and execute fundraising campaigns to achieve annual and long-term goals
  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, with a focus on securing six- and seven-figure gifts
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of fundraising experience, preferably in a higher education or research institution
  • Proven track record of securing major gifts and developing effective fundraising strategies
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and faculty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with library staff and leadership
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
