Job Summary

Blaze Credit Union is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Roseville South branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the administration and daily operations of the branch, including member service, product sales, lending, and branch compliance. You will also be responsible for the professional development and supervision of assigned staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Coach and develop branch staff to achieve sales goals and improve member satisfaction.
    • Act as an example to staff by upholding Blaze Credit Union's values, mission, and goals.
    • Communicate daily with the Manager to ensure development, performance, and recognition of staff.
  • Operational Management
    • Back up new account and loan application processes as needed.
    • Research member problems and questions, making any necessary corrections.
    • Oversee monthly branch audits to ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Schedule staff, enter time off, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
    • Ensure all associates follow dual control and other security policies and procedures.
  • Community Engagement
    • Pursue networking opportunities in the community to enhance the credit union's visibility.
    • Be an Ambassador for Blaze Credit Union by modeling the 5 A's with associates and mentoring branch staff to achieve.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of similar or related experience and a minimum high school degree.
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and related products.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell, including the ability to identify member needs and explain features and benefits of Blaze Credit Union.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales opportunities and meet goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Epysis, and/or DNA software package.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to calmly diffuse and manage challenging situations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
