OVERVIEW

The Private Client Manager is tasked with attracting new clientele while enhancing relationships with existing customers to optimize their spending.

This role positions Bucherer as a leader and innovator in the luxury market for high-value products, including watches and jewelry. The individual will be instrumental in cultivating high-net-worth clients and expanding Bucherer's customer network. Additionally, this position will involve organizing exclusive events.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and nurture new and existing client relationships, driving sales of luxury watches and jewelry to meet set sales targets.
  • Engage with the community to build connections, utilizing memberships in social clubs, art and music institutions, and charitable organizations.
  • Innovate client experiences beyond traditional methods, including factory tours and exclusive watch shows.
  • Adhere to all security and insurance protocols within and outside the retail environment.
  • Exemplify Bucherer standards by inspiring, coaching, and motivating team members.
  • Analyze customer trends in the NYC Metro market to retain and grow the customer base.
  • Implement effective public relations activities and provide optimal support for Very Important Clients (VICs).
  • Collaborate with sales staff and store leadership to enhance revenue across various product categories.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives in close collaboration with the local marketing team and Store Management.
  • Communicate and oversee promotional programs in active partnership with the Merchandising team and Store Director.
  • Attend key selling events both within and outside the store.
  • Organize and implement events with a focus on return on investment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, with a focus on high-end watch expertise.
  • Create strategic growth plans for clients and collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Client Development to implement best practices in client acquisition.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury retail sales.
  • Exceptional follow-up and time management skills.
  • Background in retail, hospitality, or a related field; further education in business administration is advantageous.
  • Professional demeanor, style, and etiquette with a strong affinity for upscale lifestyles.
  • Active networking capabilities.
  • Proven experience in customer acquisition and sales development.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Customer-focused personality with a commitment to personalized service.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated independence and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong analytical and business acumen.
  • High empathy and intercultural competence in engaging with a diverse clientele.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on collective success.
  • Strong passion for watches and jewelry.
