About the Role

Altius Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Equipment Finance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Develop and execute a daily prospecting plan to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Client Management: Maintain a scheduled calling program with clients and prospects to develop and grow existing relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Identify and address areas of competition, as well as potential new markets, to maximize the volume and earnings of the direct corporate Equipment Finance portfolio.
  • Transaction Structuring: Structure equipment transactions ranging from $500k to $10MM on average, working closely with the marketing team to execute database marketing initiatives.
  • Relationship Management: Manage existing relationships with middle-market companies, identifying and qualifying equipment lease and finance transactions.
  • Collaboration: Work with management to analyze, price, and structure transactions, and assist in managing the customer relationship from initial contact to transaction award, credit underwriting, and funding.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of successful track record in Business to Business Sales.
  • Skills: Highly-skilled and proficient in most aspects of finance, with excellent understanding of the equipment finance marketplace.
  • Education: BA/BS degree with a preferred emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using the Loan Pricing Model, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Personal Qualities: High energy, strong desire to succeed in adverse situations, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
