In this field-based role, you will:

  • Develop community connections, generate self-sourced sales, and achieve sales targets while working autonomously.
  • Engage with CarePlus clients, external business partners, and the community through in-person, virtual, and telephonic communications.
  • Conduct grassroots marketing within the community and visit potential clients in their residences.

As a Medicare Sales Representative, you will market individual health plan products and inform beneficiaries about our services in a field environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Health Insurance license
  • Proficiency with technology, including advanced use of laptops and mobile applications, along with familiarity with CRM tools or other sales/marketing resources
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver Safety program, requiring a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Must reside in local territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint
  • Experience engaging with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Bilingual with the ability to communicate in both English and another language without limitations
  • Prior experience in public speaking and presentations

Additional Information:

  • This position is subject to Humana's Driving Safety and Vehicle Management Program, requiring driver license validation and MVR review.

Schedule:

  • Meetings with members may require appointments and/or events that vary on evenings and weekends. Flexibility is crucial for success.

Training:

  • The first five weeks of employment are mandatory.

Any Humana associate who communicates with a member in a language other than English must complete a language proficiency assessment to ensure competency.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.

Pay: $36,000 - $43,400.00 per year
