Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager position at Acosta is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key retail partners to drive business growth. This role involves presenting client products to retail headquarters and ensuring proper placement in retail establishments. The ideal candidate must have experience calling on Conventional HQ accounts and knowledge of Distributors in the Market.

  • Implement customer headquarter calls and penetrate key positions in retailer departments
  • Maintain effective partnerships with clients for impactful sales, merchandising, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with retail customers and develop account-specific sales plans
  • Manage promotional activities and execute new product introductions for clients
  • Regularly visit retail store locations to stay informed about merchandising initiatives and the competitive landscape
  • Exceed Client goals for sales, distribution, pricing, and promotional volume
  • Address and resolve financial administrative issues
