Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate and Commercial Development Market Segment Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the real estate and commercial development market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning
    • Identify market trends and drivers at the national, regional, and local levels
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to position Dewberry for upcoming project opportunities and expanded client relationships
    • Support the development of the Real Estate and Commercial Development Market Segment Tactical Plan
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Lead business development, client management, and project delivery of retail, hospitality, and workplace projects across our architectural office locations
    • Assist in the recruiting and hiring of key project staff
    • Build relationships across Dewberry's Real Estate and Commercial Development Market Segment through regular face-to-face meetings with team members
  • Business Development
    • Lead efforts to identify, track, position, and pursue strategic clients and projects
    • Collaborate with Dewberry leadership and marketing/business development staff to achieve excellent results
    • Serve in a client management role for strategic clients
Requirements
  • A Professional Degree in Architecture is required
  • A State Professional Architectural license is required, with working knowledge of multiple building codes and jurisdictions
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience with subject matter expertise and management of architectural projects in real estate and commercial development
  • Proven record of successful client and business development in real estate and commercial development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide meaningful project leadership and team building, both internally and externally
Location

Dewberry will consider candidates in various locations, including Fairfax, VA; Orlando, FL; Elmhurst, IL; Peoria, IL; Houston, TX; Tulsa, OK.
