Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese/English bilingual inside sales professional to join our team at Actus Consulting Group. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales operations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders, prepare necessary documents, and enter orders via EDI, web portal, and email.
  • Understand customer-specific requirements and ensure accurate recording and definition of sales orders.
  • Issue sales orders and invoices based on spot orders and consignment usage reports.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to confirm order accuracy and product availability.
  • Provide sales support, including item/price registration, sample requests, and quotation preparation.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and management to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain internal sales operational manuals and related documents.
Customer Support
  • Investigate trends in order placement and vendor-managed inventory consumption based on operating conditions and production plans.
  • Inform factories about customer inventory status to shorten shipping times.
  • Provide price quotes, proposals, and notify credit terms to customers.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints via phone and/or email.
Inventory Control
  • Manage inventory and perform physical inventory counts for assigned customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Inside sales experience for more than 3 years preferred.
  • Japanese/English bilingual proficiency.
  • Daily in-office work required.
