Job Overview

The Product Security Lead plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our innovative health technology solutions. This position is crucial for ensuring the security of our products and services, both internally and externally, in alignment with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary authority on product security across various business sectors.
  • Monitor and report on specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to product security.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to refine security processes within the Quality Management System.
  • Stay informed about key market regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Advocate for product security throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate security training and awareness initiatives for product and program managers.
  • Identify and assess security risks throughout the Product Development Life Cycle.
  • Provide guidance on security requirements and best practices based on a risk-based approach.
  • Ensure that customer security needs are integrated into our product offerings.
  • Conduct Product Security Risk Assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee Static Code Analysis, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Assessments during product verification.
  • Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support the creation of customer security documentation and product labeling.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and information security standards.
  • Assist in maintaining external certifications and compliance with international guidelines.
  • Participate in internal audits and guide external audits related to products and services.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product or information security, risk management, or related fields.
  • Relevant security management or audit certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
  • Experience in health information security management.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with domain-specific standards for privacy and product security.
  • Proven experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of ISO27001/2 and NIST Cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and lead.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
