Position Overview

The Lead Multimedia Production Specialist - Events:
  • Assists faculty and clients with multimedia needs in classrooms and event venues; captures a variety of meetings and events;
  • Skillfully operates video and multimedia equipment, image capture technology, live streaming setups, portable media devices, and audio-visual recording systems;
  • Coordinates the efforts of the technical team assigned to events as necessary;
  • Responsible for live streaming and recording across multiple platforms based on available infrastructure;
  • Prepares and manages equipment during recording or live streaming sessions; transports portable equipment to and from locations;
  • Utilizes installed audiovisual systems to enhance events;
  • Assists with related tasks such as file uploads, inventory management, operating classroom multimedia systems, and maintaining infrastructure.

Job Summary

The Lead Multimedia Production Specialist is dedicated to supporting faculty, students, and staff in utilizing and maintaining classroom multimedia and digital video capture technologies; consistently updates knowledge of emerging audio, video, and multimedia advancements; and coordinates multimedia technology for classes and events within their responsibilities. This position oversees the work of multimedia technicians in the field, including task assignments and quality assurance as required. This role supports afternoon and evening classes and events on campus.
