The Updatability Team is revolutionizing software development to enhance the quality of software releases.

Recently, we made a significant shift in our operating systems development, affecting over 3 billion devices, where all code is integrated into the main branch behind flags, and each flag undergoes rigorous data-driven evaluation before being activated in the release.

The Updatability team oversees the automation of release processes and policies, field health data collection and monitoring, and A/B testing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities: Drive the shared, common infrastructure utilized to make data-driven release decisions regarding software updates on Android devices.

Collaborate extensively across Android Platform teams to comprehend and enhance shared common metrics infrastructure, making data actionable for our customers to efficiently identify issues, rectify bugs, and ensure secure updates for our users.
