Job Title: Associate Director, Finance & Operations, VTSI

The Vivien Thomas Scholars Initiative (VTSI) is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Finance & Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall fiscal and budgetary management for VTSI program activities and adjacent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning and analysis for VTSI activities
  • Manage financial reporting requirements for the Initiative
  • Oversee administrative operations for the Vivien Thomas Scholars Initiative
  • Lead operations for planning and execution of VTSI events
  • Develop and implement business plans that promote growth and sustainability for the VTSI and associated initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Five years of related experience
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience with finance and administrative operations in a higher education or comparable environment preferred
  • Experience working in an environment that supports graduate programs and/or graduate students preferred

This is a full-time role that reports to the AVP. The position requires some work outside of normal business hours and/or weekends. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and operations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
