Job Summary

The Employee Engagement Manager at Children's Institute is responsible for designing and executing programs that enhance the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. This includes aligning talent processes with agency goals, leading talent management initiatives, and developing solutions for key lifecycle events such as onboarding, promotions, and separations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain a talent management framework that integrates competencies, performance management, learning, and career progression.
  • Develop approaches and implement solutions that enhance the employee experience during key events in the employee lifecycle, including hiring and onboarding, development, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Collect and analyze employee lifecycle data, identifying trends and making recommendations to address or support findings.
Additional Duties
  • Align performance management framework with agency goals and priorities; develop an agency-wide competency model, feedback channels, and management training to embed a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a rewards and recognition program that is integrated across HR's talent-related processes and aligns with agency milestones.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of human resources experience, with at least 1 year leading a talent-based function such as rewards and recognition, performance management, talent acquisition, or organizational development.
  • 1 year of experience managing projects.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in human resources from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
