Facilities and Office Manager

About the Role:
The Facilities and Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. This includes overseeing office security, managing relationships with vendors and building management, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve escalated office and facilities issues
- Lead the local safety committee and develop safety guidelines
- Oversee office security, including visitor sign-ins and badges
- Maintain policy compliance related to office operations
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and building management
- Responsible for the Office and Facilities budget
- Manage office seating and assist with new employee onboarding
- Partner with Executive Assistants to plan office events
- Own relationships with local community representatives
- Manage team storage spaces and develop office organization guidelines
- Oversee the transition to a new office location
- Ensure the overall safety and security of employees and the building
Requirements:
- 5+ years of office or facilities management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and analyze
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of AV and IT
- Previous experience managing direct reports
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- 8 hours sitting/standing/walking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
