Position Summary:

As the Quality Assurance Lead for Value Creation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Value Creation Program, ensuring that our products consistently meet established quality standards. You will be responsible for developing and refining our quality systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive records for Value Creation Quality documentation on the production floor.
  • Support the VCQ team in implementing food safety and quality training initiatives.
  • Stay informed on all regulatory requirements and changes in legislation.
  • Understand and apply FDA, ODA regulations, H.A.C.C.P., S.S.O.P., and COOL Act standards.
  • Maintain expertise in environmental and product microbiological testing.
  • Ensure effective product tracking and traceability.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Drive the achievement of quality department goals and objectives.
  • Assist in all quality-related activities within the plant.
  • Identify, investigate, and report critical quality defects in production processes and products.
  • Document quality checks throughout the entire production process.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports as required.
  • Analyze product quality and take appropriate actions during daily operations.
  • Conduct problem analysis at the line level.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
