Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

Mokara Hotel & Spa is a luxurious retreat on San Antonio's world-famous Riverwalk, offering a unique blend of relaxation and excitement. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be part of a dynamic and attentive staff, dedicated to making guest stays memorable.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth check-in and check-out of guests, maintaining four-star/four-diamond standards, and handling guest issues in a courteous and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Be familiar with local points of interest, including the Riverwalk, Downtown, and surrounding areas.
  • Handle various guest scenarios, including cash handling and technical equipment operation.
  • Understand the influence and importance of all departments on the Front Desk.
  • Perform all positions in the Front Office department, including training new associates.
  • Be familiar with radio codes and emergency procedures.
  • Run the desk in the absence of the Assistant Front Office Manager.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Previous hotel experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Computer skills, including Synergy, Nucleus, Epitome, Vision, GoConcierge, and Microsoft Office.
